Summary
A performance and career development coach with over 14 years' experience of consulting on, designing and delivering a range of bespoke people development solutions. Currently runs Peak Potential Consulting, a coaching company supporting high potential and 'new in post' individuals to achieve personal and career success. I also work as an Associate with the NHS Leadership Academy in East Midlands specialising in Clinical Commissioning Group Development. Currently studying MSc Coaching and Mentoring with Sheffield Hallam and qualified to post graduate dip level to date.

Previously worked in relationship and account management for one of the country's leading talent and career management consultancies, delivering commercially focused development programmes for FTSE 250 clients.

From a coaching perspective I am absolutely committed to supporting individuals to get the most from their lives and work and believe coaching provides a safe and reflective space to achieve this.

Outcomes of coaching are broad but have included improving relationships with managers and team members, building confidence, achieving career goals, managing change and uncertainty, building resilience, raising self-awareness, preparing for the next level role, problem solving and creative thinking.

Qualifications: MSc Coaching Mentoring (current); Exploring Psychology (distinction); ILM in Transactional Analysis; Level A & B BPS accredited to administer and feedback on a range of psychometric instruments; IDM Diploma in Interactive Marketing; CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice; BA Hons 2:1 English.

Memberships: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and British Psychological Society (BPS).

Coaching and Coaching Programme Management
* Managed a highly complex programme of executive coaching for NHS East Midlands Leadership Academy for 100+ leaders across 24 organisations, which increased leadership capability in line with DOH directives and met strict performance criteria as agreed at programme commencement.
* Currently Studying MSc in Coaching and Mentoring and undertaking research into organisational readiness for coaching, and the subsequent impact on coaching outcomes.
* Coaching a variety of individuals at different career stages encompassing a range of objectives from increased overall performance, confidence building, resilience to managing change and transition
* Set up and delivered an outplacement service programme for financial services related organisation, which resulted in savings of £75k through the careful matching and redeployment of transferable employee skills into other areas of the business.
* Developed a strategic partnership for the provision of executive level coaching for a major aerospace client; currently delivering high quality coaching using objectives based criteria and post programme assessment.
* In partnership with an IT specialist created a career portal to support client aims of providing career development for 3200 staff which had been raised as an issue in their employee survey. The programme was completed on time, to strict budgets and increased internal promotion rates by 10%.
* Advised clients on Kirkpatrick approach to assessing return on investment to ensure that programmes met objectives and were modified where appropriate.

Relationship Management and Account Development
* Increased revenue by 200% to £900k in two years from start up area in the East Midlands through exceptional service, brand building and developing trust-based relationships with key clients.
* Built highly effective networks through the set up of talent and leadership forums across the East Midlands including working as a partner at the National Staff Development Conference for 100 Universities.
* Developed collaborations with HR recruiters and Associate Consultants to ensure clients access networks and thought leadership as well as building a strong brand presence organisation.
* Supported a major building society for 10 years through a period of extensive change, where the maintenance of high member engagement and employer brand values were key aspects of the programme design.

Talent Management and Career Development
* Supported a programme of training for an automotive group’s managers and employees which was part of a structured approach to retaining home grown talent and increasing engagement. Training focused on conducting meaningful career discussions for managers and ‘manage my career’ sessions for high potentials. Programme resulted in 5% increase in engagement and retention in year one.
* Advised $23b global technology company on defining talent in relation to their business excellence model; facilitated group leadership day which resulted in the creation of a talent framework, developed an approach to identification and the implications for recruitment and development.
* Worked in partnership with the largest NHS provider in W Midlands on an end to end talent strategy and advised on the creation of a framework for identifying, assessing and developing high potential. This framework was instrumental in the successful recruitment of all directors and medical leads for a major restructure.
* Coached employees using a range of psychometric tools and exercises to help them identify key skills, strengths, motivations and values with the aim of producing clear career plans and successfully gain new and rewarding roles.
